5th Grade Math Teacher
I have been a student for the majority of my life. I graduated from Dayton High School and went straight into Lee College. I also attended Tyler Junior college in Tyler, Texas. I graduated from TJC and took a break from school. I then became a student of LeTourneau University. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Administration when I was co-owner in a tax/bookkeeping business. When I moved back to Dayton I made the decision to change my career path to what I feel is my calling. I continued in school to complete my Masters in Education.
I started working at Kimmie Brown as a teacher during the 2013-2014 school year. The following year was my first full year. I taught 4th grade math and science. I continued teaching 4th grade until the year before last. My 4th graders impacted my teaching life and I moved to 5th grade with them. I have stayed in 5th grade since.
I am the proud mother. My daughter Leila is 14 and my son Mason is 13 . My kids are the bright spot in my day. I was married on April Fool’s Day of 2018 and our family grew. I gained 3 more children and a grandson.
