Service Projects
The students and staff at Kimmie Brown will participate in several service projects throughout the year.
Pennies for Patients
Since 1994, millions of dollars have been raised in pennies and other spare change by more than 10 million elementary, middle and high school students throughout the country. The funds, collected during a three-week period, benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
Kimmie Brown students and staff can purchase "sneakers" to support research efforts for juvenile diabetes.

Brown Bag Food Drive
Each class at Kimmie Brown is encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to a local food pantry. Our food drive is held in November - - just in time for the Thanksgiving holiday.
This year, KMB students collected over 2,500 non-perishable food items for our community!
Jump Rope for Heart
Jump Rope for Heart is a national educational fund-raising program that is sponsored by the American Heart Association and the American Alliance for Heath, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance (AAHPERD). Jump Rope for Heart engages elementary students in jumping rope while raising funds to support life-saving heart and stroke research. This educational program teaches physical fitness and promotes the value of community service to students and their families.
Relay for Life
Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society's signature activity. It offers everyone in a community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.
