Clarification on New Backpack Policy
For the 2018-2019 school year, Dayton ISD will only allow mesh or clear backpacks. Backpacks cannot contain patterns or designs that hinder the ability to clearly see the contents. Mesh backpacks should be solid colors (although a secondary trim color is acceptable) and clear backpacks should not have designs that hinder visibility. Click here for examples of what will be acceptable and unacceptable.
Attention Parents: STAAR/EOC scores are now available through the Texas Assessment Management System. Click on the above image and then click on "Log In To Student Portal.” If you do not know your child's access code, click on "Find My Access Code." You will then need your child’s social security number and date-of-birth. Hard copies of scores will be available in August when school resumes.
DISD is excited to partner with @CampInvention June 18-22 for a week of STEM-filled fun for students entering K-6! Parents can save $25 when registering on or before Friday, March 23rd with the code IDEAS25. Visit http://campinvention.org to register!
New Check-In Procedures:
As of January 8th, all campus visitors will be required to show a photo ID. This is a new district policy to ensure the continued safety of our students. Please make sure to bring your ID to every visit. If you plan on eating lunch with your child or have a meeting/conference, we will hold your ID in the front office and return it to you when you check out.
