I have been a student for the majority of my life. I graduated from Dayton High School and went straight into Lee College. I also attended Tyler Junior college in Tyler, Texas. I graduated from TJC and took a break from school. I then became a student of LeTourneau University. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Administration when I was co-owner in a tax/bookkeeping business. When I moved back to Dayton I made the decision to change my career path to what I feel is my calling. I continued in school to complete my Masters in Education.
This will be my first year with my own class. I have been a substitute for several years in DISD. I started last year as a student teacher in fouth grade at Kimmie. I finishedthe school year as a long term sub in 4th grade Math/Science. I am excited to be teaching the same subject this year.
I am the proud mother of 2 amazing children. My daughter Leila is 11 and my son Mason is 9 (no he is not Mason Mason. My kids are the bright spot in my day. I am looking forward to teaching in the same grade as Mason. My kids and I enjoy fishing, going to the zoo, and the museum.
