Instructional Coaches

Lesleigh Bagley, Math Instructional Coachemail

Mrs. Bagley

Howdy, y'all! My name is Lesleigh Bagley and I will be starting my third year as the Math/Science Instructional Coach at Kimmie Brown! I am also going into my 8th year of education. I started my career teaching high school agricultural science. When I had children, the Ag Teaching Life became very hectic and I made the decision to switch to elementary math and science in hopes of getting more time with my family. I received both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Texas A&M University (WHOOP!). I love to watch teachers and students grow each year. My passion has always been to help lead people to see and reach their fullest potential. We have some amazing educators at KMB!

As an instructional coach, my job is to support teachers with lesson planning, lesson implementation, guide teachers through data evaluation, provide professional development opportunities and lead teachers through the best quality instruction for their students. I am so excited for this school year and I look forward to working with our teachers and students to show growth!

Tiffany Brown, ELAR Instructional Coach

Mrs. BrownHey y'all, I am Tiffany Brown and I am excited to represent Kimmie Brown as the new English Language Arts and Social Studies Instructional Coach. I am a wife, as well as a mom of three and I love to spend time with them. I am a graduate of Dayton High School and I graduated with my Bachelors degree in Interdisciplinary Studies for Elementary from University of Houston-Clear Lake. I have been in education for 6 years since then. I have taught self contained 2nd grade as well as departmentalized in both 2nd and 3rd grade. After leaving the classroom, I became a reading K-1/Dyslexia interventionist. My passion is to meet students where they are and grow them from there. As an instructional coach, I get the pleasure of doing this on a much bigger scale because I can work with our teachers who can then go back and use their skills and knowledge to reach a class full of students. I am eager to get started this school year and support our teachers as much as possible so that we can grow as a whole campus!

Stephanie Tompkins, Instruction Technology Specialist/Coach

Mrs. TompkinsI am proud to be serving Kimmie Brown Elementary as the Instructional Technology Specialist for the second year. This is my 25th year in education, and I still absolutely love working in this field. I spent 23 years in a career and technical classroom, which has give me the experience and skills to help teachers and students incorporate technology into their curriculum. I strive to provide innovative experiences to integrate technology, enhancing the learning environment for students.

I come from a business background with degree in Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University, but my certifications include Basic Business and Technology Applications (EC-12). My husband is also a fellow educator with over 25 years of experience, and we have three children who are continuing in the service fields of education and fire fighting. I am super excited about this year!
