I graduated from A.C. Jones High School in Beeville, Texas in 1985. I received my Bachelors degree from The University of Houston -Downtown and my Masters degree from Lamar university.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and a Mastr’s degree in Educational Leadership.
I am certified Early Childhood – 6th grade with my ESL ensorsement.
I also hold a Principal’s certification.
Hello, this is my first year to teach at Kimmie Brown. I will be teaching 5th grade ELAR. I am looking forward to a great year.
I have previously taught 5th grade ELAR at Eastside Elementary in Cleveland from 2015-2019. 2019-2020, I served as the 504 Liaison for Eastside. I hae also served as a paraprofessional with Tarkington ISD and Cleeland ISD before obtaining my degree in 2015.
I have been married to my husband for 35 years, we got married in 1985. We have three adult children who are all married and we have 5 grandchildren. We have a horse, three dogs, numerous cats, and 20 cows.
My hobbies include playing with my grandchildren, reading, and playing the piano. When I am not teaching, I am usually spending time with my grandchildren, going to church, playing the piano and singing in the Praise Team.
