During the time I was at UHCL I was President of Student Council for Exceptional Children, earned the presidential award of gold standard for volunteering and because I had an awesome team and great volunteers our organization won "Organization of the Year". Upon graduating I was honored with the award of "Promising First Year Teacher" by the Texas Council of Exceptional Children.
My Certifications are in early childhood through sixth grade and special education through twelfth grade. I have completed my 30 hours of GT training and complete my updates on a yearly basis.
