I graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. From there, I went to Florida State University and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. (Go Seminoles!) Then, I went on to Penn State University and earned a Master’s in Rehabilitation. (We are...Penn State!) Finally, I earned my Alternative Teaching Certificate through Texas Teachers.
I have four awesome children (two of them attend Kimmie Brown and two are in middle school). I have been married to my wonderful husband for 18 years. We both love education…he is an assistant principal in Aldine! Oh yes, I also have a big sweet dog named Pepper.
